NEW DELHI,: Indian Oil Corporation Ltd. (IndianOil) on Saturday launched Indane XTRALITE NOW, a 10 kg composite LPG cylinder backed by an express delivery service that promises delivery within four hours of booking, as the state-run energy major seeks to strengthen convenience and digital customer services for urban households.
The lightweight, rust-free composite cylinder features a translucent body that enables customers to monitor LPG levels, while the service also offers preferred delivery time slots and simplified documentation.
IndianOil Chairman A. S. Sahney launched the new offering in the presence of Director (Marketing) Saumitra P. Srivastava and other senior officials. The company also announced that its 5 kg Chhotu LPG cylinder will now be available through the same four-hour express home delivery service.
“Innovation is meaningful only when it enriches the lives of our customers,” Sahney said, adding that the new offering combines advanced composite cylinder technology with an enhanced service model to provide a smarter, safer and more convenient LPG experience.
Srivastava said the initiative reflects IndianOil’s customer-centric strategy by combining innovative technology with faster and more reliable delivery to redefine the domestic LPG experience.
The service will initially be rolled out in Pune, Gurugram, Indore, and Coimbatore before expanding to 25 additional cities by mid-August and to major cities across the country by the end of October 2026. Customers can register for new connections and book refills through the IndianOil ONE App and the IndianOil customer portal, while WhatsApp booking is expected to be introduced shortly.
