PANCHKULA: The CyberPeace Foundation, in collaboration with the Haryana Police, launched the Cyber First Responder program on Monday at the Indradhanush Auditorium in Panchkula to strengthen AI safety and cybersecurity awareness.
The initiative, an official pre-summit event to the India-AI Impact Summit 2026, aims to build digital resilience among citizens and law enforcement in the face of rising AI-driven cybercrimes.
The event featured awareness sessions, technical workshops, and training modules on cyber hygiene, phishing, identity theft, ransomware and AI-powered impersonation.
Dignitaries included Rajya Sabha MP Rekha Sharma, former chair of the National Commission for Women; Assistant Inspector General of Police Veerendra K.R. Mishra; and Panchkula Police Commissioner Shibas Kaviraj.
CyberPeace founder Vineet Kumar said the program will empower both citizens and law enforcement “to act as first responders in the digital space” as cyber threats grow in scale and sophistication.
