New Delhi: Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IndianOil) and Maruti Suzuki India Limited (MSIL) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding to establish authorised Maruti Suzuki vehicle service facilities at select IndianOil fuel stations across the country, the companies said on Monday.
Under the agreement, Maruti Suzuki service points offering scheduled maintenance and minor repairs will be integrated into IndianOil’s extensive fuel station network, allowing customers to service their vehicles while refuelling. The initiative is aimed at enhancing convenience and reducing time spent on routine vehicle upkeep.
IndianOil operates over 41,000 fuel stations nationwide, while Maruti Suzuki currently has more than 5,780 service touchpoints. The collaboration is expected to significantly expand Maruti Suzuki’s service reach, particularly in high-traffic and frequently visited locations.
Saumitra P. Srivastava, Director (Marketing), IndianOil, said the partnership aligns with the company’s strategy of offering value-added services at fuel stations and bringing essential customer services closer to consumers.
Ram Suresh Akella, Executive Officer (Service), Maruti Suzuki India Limited, said the collaboration would help make car servicing more accessible by leveraging IndianOil’s widespread retail footprint, adding that it represents a convergence of the mobility and energy sectors focused on customer convenience.
The rollout will be undertaken in a phased manner at select locations across India.
