New Delhi: Goa witnessed a proud moment for REC Limited on September 26, 2025, when Irfan Rashid, Corporate Communications Professional at REC, walked up to the stage to receive the Chanakya Jury Special Award – Promising Corporate Communicator of the Year at the 19th PRCI Global Communication Conclave.
The recognition, conferred by the Public Relations Council of India (PRCI), is reserved for emerging voices in the communications fraternity who display creativity, clarity, and a strong sense of purpose in their work. For Rashid, it marked not just a personal achievement but also a milestone for REC’s Corporate Communications Division, which has been steadily setting benchmarks in stakeholder engagement and storytelling.
Industry leaders at the conclave applauded the awardee’s contribution in shaping transparent and impactful communication narratives. “Young professionals like Irfan represent the next chapter of corporate communications in India—dynamic, thoughtful, and in sync with both tradition and innovation,” remarked a senior PRCI representative.
The recognition also shines a spotlight on REC’s culture of nurturing young talent, encouraging innovation, and building robust connections with stakeholders through clear, engaging communication.
With this honour, Rashid joins a league of new-generation communicators who are poised to make a lasting impact on how corporate India tells its stories.
