NEW DELHI: Pioneer India Pvt. Ltd. has reduced the maximum retail prices of its in-car entertainment systems following the GST Council’s decision to lower tax rates on the products from 28% to 18%. The revised pricing took effect Sept. 22.
Among popular models, the DMH-Z5290BT/XNID will now retail at ₹27,647, down from ₹29,990. The MVH-G219BT/XNID has been reduced to ₹12,805 from ₹13,890, while the DMH-ZF9650BT/XNES has been cut to ₹1,07,481 from ₹1,16,590. Prices across other categories have also been updated.
Revised labels reflecting the lower prices have been shipped since Sept. 22, ensuring customers benefit directly from the tax change. Pioneer has also instructed its authorized partners and distributors to implement the new pricing across all sales channels.
