New Delhi: The All India Council for Robotics & Automation (AICRA) will host the ninth TechnoXian World Cup, billed as the world’s largest robotics championship, from Aug. 30 to Sept. 2 at the Noida Stadium Complex.
Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and Union Minister of Communications Jyotiraditya Scindia will inaugurate the event.
More than 22,000 participants from over 60 countries — including Brazil, South Korea, Nigeria, Mexico, and Russia — will compete in 15 robotics challenges such as Robo Soccer, Drone Race, Bots Combat, Robo Hockey and AgriBot.
The tournament follows national qualifiers held in 22 countries, with winning teams representing their nations. A special Innovation Showcase will feature over 150 student-led projects, alongside TEDEX 2025, an exhibition showcasing future technologies in AI, robotics, AR/VR, and IoT.
“This is not just a championship, it is a movement,” said AICRA President Rajkumar Sharma. “Our vision is to establish India as the global hub for technology sports.”
The four-day event, supported by the World Robotics Sports Organization, will conclude with a mega award ceremony honoring champions and innovators.
