BENGALURU: Pioneer India has launched its new Automotive 360° Surround View Camera System, aimed at improving driver safety and visibility in Indian traffic conditions. The company also announced it has signed its first OEM customer in India, marking a key step in its local growth and Make-in-India strategy.
The system features four HD/FHD ultra-wide-angle cameras, real-time stitched bird’s-eye video, and low-latency processing for seamless integration into in-car displays. It supports full OEM integration, including CAN compatibility and auto-calibration for quick installation.
“This rollout reflects our readiness to deliver complex, OEM-grade solutions with full local ownership,” said Aniket Kulkarni, Managing Director, Pioneer India. “We see this as a stepping stone to deeper collaborations with Indian OEMs.”
