REC loans rise 18% in Q3 FY25; green lending surges 58%

GURUGRAM: REC Limited, a Maharatna CPSE under the Ministry of Power, reported a 17.98% year-on-year rise in loan disbursements to ₹54,692 crore for Q3 FY25. Renewable energy loans saw remarkable growth, up 58.09% YoY, reaching ₹6,314 crore.

For the first nine months of FY25, REC disbursed ₹1,45,647 crore in loans, a 19.30% increase from ₹1,22,089 crore in the same period last year. Green energy loans totaled ₹17,612 crore, registering a 78.68% year-on-year rise.
