Mangaluru : The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has appointed M Vinaykumar as Director Refinery of the Mangalore Refinery and Petrochemicals Ltd (MRPL)
. Mr Vinayakumar took charge of his new role today.
A Mechanical Engineering graduate from Cochin University of Science and Technology Mr Vinaykumar also holds a Diploma in Management.
He began his career in Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL) in 1982. Later he
joined MRPL as Manager Project in 1993. He handled various responsibilities in different
departments like Projects, Engineering, and Technical Services , over the years and became
Group General Manager (In charge-Refinery), before being appointed as Director Refinery.
He is also a Director in ONGC Mangalore Petrochemicals Limited and Shell MRPL
Aviation Fuels and Services Limited.
