Shri Vivek Kumar Dewangan, Chairman and Managing Director of REC Ltd, opened the “REC Gift of Life—Cardiac Ward” in front of notable guests, hospital management, doctors, medical personnel, patients and their families, and senior REC Ltd executives.

The cardiac ward, which is dedicated to life-saving pediatric cardiac care surgeries, has received support from REC’s CSR activities during the last six months.

The REC Gift of Life Cardiac Ward is equipped with cutting-edge medical technology and staffed by a dedicated team of highly skilled healthcare professionals. The hospital will provide life-saving cardiac care to people from all walks of life.

During a ceremony, Shri Dewangan presented “Gift of Life” certificates to youngsters who underwent successful surgery to treat congenital heart abnormalities.

During his interactions with children and their families, Shri Dewangan expressed his heartfelt appreciation to the committed team of expert doctors and medical professionals who performed 1,000 pediatric cardiac surgeries.

Shri Dewangan praised the collaboration with Shri Sathya Sai Educational and Health Trust, saying, “This project demonstrates REC’s unwavering commitment to providing accessible, quality healthcare to those in need, resulting in lifelong positive outcomes for the children’s health and quality of life, allowing them to lead normal lives and pursue their dreams.
