NEW DELHI: REC Limited, a Maharatna CPSE under the Ministry of Power, has committed ₹20 crore under its CSR initiative to support the education of children of ex-servicemen, martyrs, and war widows.
The contribution, made through the REC Foundation to the Armed Forces Flag Day Fund (AFFDF), will benefit 16,667 students from Army, Navy, and Air Force families.
A Memorandum of Agreement was signed in New Delhi between Pradeep Fellows, Executive Director (CSR), REC, and Brigadier D.S. Basera, Secretary, Kendriya Sainik Board.
This latest grant follows ₹30 crore already extended by REC Foundation over the past two financial years, reinforcing REC’s ongoing commitment to social equity and nation-building.
