NEW DELHI : The Public Enterprises Selection Board (PESB) has recommended Shri T.S.C. Bosh for appointment as Director (Projects) at REC Limited, one of India’s premier Maharatna Central Public Sector Enterprises under the Ministry of Power.

Currently serving as Executive Director and CEO of REC Power Development and Consultancy Limited (RECPDCL) — a wholly owned subsidiary of REC — Bosh brings with him over three decades of experience in the power sector. His areas of expertise span project execution, consultancy services, and the development of power transmission and distribution infrastructure across India.

The PESB’s recommendation follows a rigorous selection process and reflects Bosh’s proven leadership, deep technical knowledge, and strategic capabilities in steering complex, high-impact infrastructure initiatives.

Under his leadership, RECPDCL has played a key role in implementing large-scale government power projects and enabling last-mile connectivity in underserved regions. His appointment is expected to strengthen REC’s project execution capabilities further, particularly as the PSU scales its operations in support of India’s energy transition and rural electrification goals.

REC Limited, formerly known as Rural Electrification Corporation, plays a pivotal role in financing and supporting power sector initiatives, with a focus on transmission, distribution, and renewable energy infrastructure. As Director (Projects), Bosh will oversee REC’s expanding project portfolio and contribute to its strategic growth in line with national priorities.

The appointment is subject to further approvals and clearances as per standard government procedures.
