NEW DELHI (SG) — Seeking to address fragmented planning and limited long-term impact in corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiatives, House of Tarq was formally launched in New Delhi through a curated, closed-door CSR leadership roundtable attended by senior leaders from the corporate, social and institutional sectors.
The initiative positions itself as an integrated framework for corporate social returns, bringing together CSR strategy, governance design, storytelling and on-ground implementation within a single, coherent system. The model aims to move CSR beyond compliance-driven spending toward measurable, scalable and sustained social impact.
Under the structure, Tarq leads CSR strategy, governance architecture and impact narrative, while Tarq Foundation, through its solutions vertical, is responsible for on-ground programme execution. The foundation’s proprietary IMPACT framework structures CSR interventions across six priority areas critical to India’s development: infrastructure; medical and nutrition; public awareness; access to education; climate and environment; and skilling and livelihoods.
The model also includes a Design Your Own Programme (DYOP) framework, enabling corporates and partners to co-create customised CSR interventions within the IMPACT themes, balancing local flexibility with structured implementation, monitoring and accountability.
“CSR often falters not due to lack of intent, but when systems fail to communicate with each other,” said House of Tarq co-founder Manoviraj Singh, adding that corporate social returns require a clear architecture where strategy, governance and execution work together beyond reporting cycles.
Co-founder Lakshana Asthana said fragmented programmes and disconnected narratives weaken impact, noting that House of Tarq was created to ensure alignment between design and delivery so CSR investments translate into credible, long-term social returns.
The launch concluded with a discussion on the evolving role of CSR in India, positioning House of Tarq as a long-term institutional partner focused on clarity, effective execution and measurable social impact.
