Indore: Bharat Petroleum Corp. Ltd. (BPCL), in partnership with the Madhya Pradesh Industrial Development Corp. (MPIDC) and the Indian Plast Pack Foundation, hosted an Investor & Customer Meet here to spotlight its ₹49,000 crore Bina Refinery expansion and petrochemical project.
The project will produce globally benchmarked polymers such as polypropylene, HDPE/LLDPE, benzene, toluene and mixed-xylene, aimed at reducing imports and supporting sectors including packaging, automotive, agriculture and consumer goods.
Officials said Bina is emerging as a key petrochemicals hub with strategic location, integrated infrastructure and investor-friendly policies. The expansion is expected to create major downstream opportunities and align with India’s “Make in India” vision.
