New Delhi: Bharat Electricity 2025, co-located with POWERGEN India and Indian Utility Week, will be held Sept. 2–4 at Yashobhoomi, IICC, Dwarka, New Delhi. The event will bring together policymakers, regulators, utilities, innovators and investors to accelerate India’s clean energy transition.
The forum, backed by the ministries of Power, New & Renewable Energy, Environment, External Affairs, Heavy Industries, Jal Shakti, and Electronics & IT, will highlight India’s drive toward 500 GW of non-fossil capacity by 2030 and net zero by 2070. The MSME Ministry is setting up a pavilion to showcase small and regional enterprises.
Guided by the theme “Viksit Bharat: Transforming Energy, Transforming Lives,” the program will cover grid modernization, renewable integration, storage, hydrogen, digital infrastructure and consumer reforms. Union ministers Manohar Lal and Pralhad Joshi have been invited to inaugurate the event.
The governing council is chaired by Bhupinder Singh Bhalla, IAS (Retd.), former MNRE secretary, with co-chairs Ghanashyam Prasad, chairperson of CEA, and Praveer Sinha, CEO and MD of Tata Power. Leaders from NTPC, Power Grid, ReNew, Suzlon, BSES, TERI, CEEW, Siemens Energy and others are also represented.
“Bharat Electricity 2025 is not just a conference—it is where India’s clean energy ambitions are translated into action,” said P.K. Pujari, IAS (Retd.), former CERC chairperson.
More than 10,000 participants and 250 exhibitors are expected, featuring innovations in clean energy, digital grids, hydrogen and storage.
