Gurgaon: CyberPeace and MDI Gurgaon convened a closed-door roundtable on “Responsible AI and AI Safety,” bringing together policymakers, industry leaders, academics, and civil society experts. The discussions precede the Global CyberPeace Summit 2.0 on February 10, 2026, at Bharat Mandapam, Delhi, which will feature workshops, training, and debates on AI governance, cybersecurity, and digital trust.
Maj. Vineet Kumar, Founder of CyberPeace, emphasized the summit’s goal to foster inclusive dialogue on the safe and democratic use of AI, engaging stakeholders from children to senior citizens. Prof. Arvind Sahay, MDI Gurgaon, highlighted the need for societal and institutional readiness, warning that uncalibrated AI could impair human decision-making and learning.
Speakers agreed that Responsible AI is a governance, risk management, and national security imperative. Discussions focused on accountability models, capacity gaps, and the risks of misinformation, fraud, and public trust erosion. The event also saw the launch of Prof. (Dr.) Anjali Kaushik’s book, Responsible AI: Principles to Practices, provides a practical framework for operationalising AI responsibly.
