New Delhi: India’s leading trade show for business and leisure travel, BLTM 2025, opened Friday at Yashobhoomi, IICC, bringing together global and domestic players in the fast-growing MICE sector.
The three-day event, running from September 11 to 13, features more than 500 exhibitors, seven Indian states and union territories, and five international destinations. Organizers expect over 15,000 pre-qualified buyers and attendees, including travel managers, event planners, airlines, hotels, and technology providers.
Delhi Tourism Minister Kapil Mishra inaugurated the show alongside ambassadors and senior tourism officials from Cuba, Uzbekistan, Sri Lanka, Israel, Kenya, and Indonesia.
Participating exhibitors include state tourism boards from Delhi, Gujarat, Tamil Nadu, Odisha, Andhra Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, Jharkhand, and Meghalaya. International convention bureaus from Sri Lanka, Israel, and St. Petersburg are also showcasing their offerings, along with prominent brands such as Treat Hotels, Ramoji Film City, Coffee Day Hotels & Resorts, and The Zuri Hotels.
BLTM 2025 highlights include panel discussions hosted by SITE, NIMA, and the India Convention Promotion Bureau, a B2B speed networking session, and the Responsible Tourism Awards by the International Centre for Responsible Tourism, supported by India’s Ministry of Tourism.
For the first time, Meeting Professionals International is delivering its Meeting Fundamentals Certificate Course in India, aimed at upskilling the meetings and events workforce. A new Rural Tourism Showcase, presented with ICRT, features more than 50 homestays, promoting sustainable and community-based travel.
“Business travel is experiencing a strong resurgence,” said Sanjiv Agarwal, chairman and CEO of Fairfest Media, which organizes BLTM. “Our vision is to build a purposeful marketplace where long-term relationships drive growth.”
Fairfest Media, which also runs TTF and OTM, has positioned BLTM as India’s first trade show dedicated to business and leisure travel. The event is backed by the Ministry of Tourism, industry associations, and leading travel brands.
