NEW DELHI: India will showcase its ambitious clean energy goals at POWERGEN India and Indian Utility Week 2025, a major power and utility convergence platform scheduled from September 2–4 at Yashobhoomi, IICC, Dwarka, New Delhi.
The event comes as India advances toward 500 GW of non-fossil fuel capacity by 2030 and net-zero emissions by 2070. It will feature participation from over 10,000 stakeholders, 120 policymakers, and 250+ exhibitors across clean energy, digital grids, hydrogen, and energy storage sectors.
Under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership, policy initiatives such as the National Green Hydrogen Mission, Revamped Distribution Sector Scheme, and Viability Gap Funding for storage are driving India’s energy transition. The event aims to translate these reforms into action through strategic dialogue, technology showcases, and global partnerships.
“Energy is now a pillar of sovereignty, sustainability, and equity,” said Abhishek Bhatnagar, Director General of ENCIS. “This platform is where ideas become policy, and action leads to impact.”
Organized as part of the world’s largest energy event series, POWERGEN India and Indian Utility Week will position India as a rising green energy superpower.
